The Serpent's Charge
I am the Lord of all, Master of this Earth. My crown bears the serpent, and my sceptre is the lapis lazuli rod of ruling.
I am he whose mouth pours forth flame, and whose hand pours forth water.
Behold my works, ye mortals, and look well! For they are the work of ages.
I am the wearer of rainbow raiment. All bow before me, and acknowledge my kingship.
My works are those of the abyss, and also of the ether.
I hold death and life in my hands; they are mine to control. Unto my children I give the power of these also.
Obey my teachings! When you hate, hate with all your being! When you love, love with all of your being! Strike with venom at your enemies!
I am the radiant, deathless one. I am eternal, never dying.
My rays stretch out over the land, bathing all in their incandescent light.
Accept my blessings, my children, and multiply!
